Welcome to our website!
Southwest Earth Festivals Association, SWEFA, is a unique Pagan organization. It is not incorporated,
has no charter or bylaws, and consists of whoever shows up for meetings. This remarkably successful anarchistic format has
sustained 25 plus years of Pagan festivals celebrating the Turning of the Wheel.
Volunteers who attend the planning meetings held in January and June every year, have first choice on any
event or ritual coordination. Proxies can be sent with friends.
We are those who show up to help create five safe and blessed earth festivals in and near Albuquerque, New
Mexico. Volunteers who are actually at the planning meetings held in January and June, have first choice on any event
or ritual coordination. Proxies can be sent with friends.
They
are:
Beltane (May Day)
Midsummer Mirth (MSM) (Litha or Summer
Solstice)
Enchanted Mountain Gathering (EMG) (Lughnasagh or Lammas)
Witches
Ball (the Saturday after Samhain)
Yule (Winter Solstice)
We also participate in Albuquerque Pagan
Pride Day (in honor of Mabon / Fall Equinox)
All proceeds from these events goes into the Land Fund for future
purchase of land on which to hold some of these events.
So mote it
be. And ye harm none.

SWEFA's next Annual event is Beltane, 2010. Once a date has been verified by the US Forest
Service, vouchers will be available for sale. Tentatively, the dates are April 30th through May 2nd or April 23rd through
April 25th.
There will be a SWEFA meeting at Beltane
to see if someone will volunteer to be Event Coordinator for EMG - Enchanted Mountain Gathering. If no one steps forward,
EMG will be cancelled for 2010.
Anyone
interested in assisting Lynn, Event Coordinator for Beltane, with any of the many different coordinating positions necessary
for Beltane can contact him at the falconmoon@gmail.com .
