Midsummer Mirth will be held June 24th through
June 27, 2010.
Vouchers are available at Blue Eagle Bookstore or Ancient Road through Sunday, June 20th, or through either PayPal
or mail-in registration. Mail-in vouchers must be postmarked by June17th, so we can get them in time, and require
an email address that we can email to you your voucher and directions to the campsite. PayPal registration will
be available through Monday, June 21st.
This year, Mirth will be a dog-friendly event, subject to SWEFA guidelines.
This is a relatively new and small event, created
for us to have some 'camping with our friends' time, without the need for lots of volunteers and volunteer chores.
So, it will be mainly be a camping with few planned
events. Instead, there will be impromptu ritual or workshops.
This is a wonderful time of the year to camp out.
The nights are cool and comfortable. The days are warm but not too hot.
There will be shared meals and drumming and dancing around a fire in the evening. You are encouraged to bring your
musical instruments including drums and rattles.
We are hoping to have Round Robin hosts to open their campsite for us
to bring one of our daily meals - where everyone in the campground can bring their food and friendship and laughter to share.
