Enchanted Mountain Gathering 2010:
“Sacred
Space Within, Sacred Space Without.”
August 5th – 8th
Enchanted Mountain Gathering (EMG) is our community Lughnassadh
event. Also known as Lammas, this is the time of year when we notice the nights getting longer as Summer makes its exit. For
many, this time of year signifies a time of harvest, and preparation for the coming seasons of cold. It is also a time to
enjoy the last days of Summer’s heat with merriment and joy.
This year, our sacred
celebration will embrace many manifestations of magic, from the inside out. With music, feasting, ritual and dance, we honor
the turning of the wheel. Come join us!
Adults (age 12 & up): $17
Children (age 3 – 11): $7
Children under 3 are free!
Registration will open on Monday, July
5th and will continue through Friday, July 30th, or until the maximum number of attendees is reached.
You may register through this webpage by clicking on the appropriate link. You can also register
at Blue Eagle Metaphysical Emporium (2422 Juan Tabo Blvd. NE) in Albuquerque.
Things to know before registering:
Canine
attendance will NOT be permitted at EMG 2010. Certified service animals will be allowed
in accordance with the law.
Remember, this is a spiritually-oriented event, held in sacred
space. Please read ALL the information in the EMG Registration packet carefully before deciding to attend. You will
be expected to comply with the rules and regulations of this event. If you are not willing to comply with these rules, you
should reconsider attending this event.
EMG takes place during New Mexico’s “wildfire season.”
It is always possible that EMG may need to be moved to a different location or rescheduled, due to fire threats.
If this happens, all registered attendees will be notified. IT IS IMPORTANT TO PROVIDE AS MUCH CONTACT INFORMATION
AS POSSIBLE
WHEN REGISTERING.
Otherwise, we can’t keep you updated.
Fire regulations are going to be thoroughly enforced throughout
the event, as mandated by the US Forest Service and weather conditions. This may mean that we have no fires during the event;
please be prepared.
Please plan accordingly! In this
lovely land, the weather is drastically changeable. All attendees should be prepared for sweltering days and frigid nights.
Remember to bring plenty of water! It’s important to stay hydrated throughout EMG. It is recommended that you
bring one gallon of drinking water per day, per person.
Silver Moon will be on-site to provide
healthful support, but please be considerate of your own personal needs. It’s easy to get caught up in the revelry and
forget the mundane details, but you will have a better time if you take care of yourself!
Don’t
forget your feast gear! We want to make EMG as green as possible this year. As a community, we can cut down on a lot
of waste if we bring our reusable dishes.
