SWEFA Beltane
is held sometime near May 1st every year. In 2010, it will be either April 23-25th or April 30-May2nd.
As soon as a date is verified by the US Forest Services, vouchers will be available.
Beltane is a celebration of mid-Spring. When life around us opens and flowers. The May Queen
and the May King are honored and all are invited to dance around the Maypole. The Maypole itself
represents the male essence of nature and the earth that holds the pole, the female. Beltane is a time for dancing,
flowers, fertility, sensuality, and delight.
Please
contact Beltane event coordinator, Lynn, at thefalconmoon@gmail.com if you are interested in volunteering for
one of the many coordinator positions necessary for this event.
